February 11, 2022
Niagara Falls, Ontario — The Honourable Rob Nicholson, Member of Parliament for Niagara Falls, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, today announced that Automation Devices Canada Ltd. will receive an investment of $80, 910 for the design and production of a new standard equipment line, through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario).

“This investment will provide much-needed stimulus funding to support Niagara’s ongoing economic recovery,” said Nicholson. “I am pleased that this funding will allow businesses in Niagara Falls to expand, become more competitive and secure new market opportunities.”

“This Community Adjustment Fund contribution will allow Automation Devices Canada to expand its product line as well as diversifying into the pharmaceutical, food and wine, and cosmetics industries. With the help of our team and future new staff, today’s funding will help position our company in the market place for a strong and prosperous future”, said Mark Marino, President of Automation Devices Canada Ltd.

This project will design an automated capping and labeling machine prototype to serve the food and beverage, wine, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics industries.  This project will enable Automation Devices Canada Ltd. to reduce its dependence on the automotive industry by diversifying its product line.

This project will be funded through the Community Adjustment Fund, a two-year, $1-billion national program aimed at addressing the short-term economic needs of communities hit hardest by the global economic recession. The approved project must meet the terms and conditions set out in the contribution agreement.
