As I reflect back on my first year as your MP in the 38 th Federal Parliament, I am pleased to note the many opportunities I have had to contribute and assist. As Transport Critic, I pressed the government to deal with the border crossing concerns we have in Niagara. As Chief Opposition Whip, I ensured all caucus members were in attendance for important votes. I was encouraged by the many letters of support I received from you regarding my opposition to the "same-sex marriage" legislation, and I am hopeful that we will get to the bottom of the disgraceful Liberal advertising scandal. My staff and I have assisted hundreds of constituents with issues such as pensions, disability payments, passports and immigration. You can be assured that I will continue to work hard on your behalf. As always, please feel free to contact me if there is anything I or my staff can help you with.
